Terms of Service

Cleat is boatyard service management software operated by Patrick Lyons.

Accounts are created by the yard operator for its own employees. Employees do not self-register.

The yard is responsible for the accuracy of what its people enter and for telling employees they will receive SMS.

Customer and business data entered into Cleat belongs to the yard, not to Cleat, and is returned or deleted on request if the yard stops using it.

Cleat is provided as is during this period, with no warranty and no guarantee of uptime or data availability.

Billing and payroll

Cleat is not an accounting system of record. Invoices and hours generated should be reviewed before use in billing or payroll.

Billing narratives are generated with AI assistance and must be reviewed by a manager before being sent to a customer.

Either party may end use at any time.
